Pál Lányi, also known as Palkó. He is not only blowing the wind in our sails, but he is the sail and the wind himself. He knows sailing inside and out, and can easily win a Blue Ribbon Sailing Competition. The vitality, sensitivity and joviality of the researcher for economic development is enviable. I am a mechanical and economic engineer, and a small business expert. Previously I worked as an engineer for investment and establishment at a large enterprise, then I became the marketing group leader, and later on I worked as a manager at an information centre, a research institute for services, while taking a refresher course. My production sector career ended up in the microfilter development business as the leader of a matrix-based organisation. Following that, I had various enterprise and developmental commissions at business federations, research institutes, and at for- and non-profit consulting organizations. As a researcher for economic development, I have been dealing with SMEs for three decades, with their functioning conditions, claims to support, and development opportunities. As a retired, passing on my experiences and supporting beneficial corporate ambitions has come to the fore. This intention led me to the field of helping talent, where I came to know the talent-mentoring method of “I am the best”. I undertook tasks concerning the configuration of the organization, contact organization to go to market, and membership of the supervision board. |
